bl'ast power of expression
heres a great album by the santa cruz band bl'ast,Imo their best release.Alot of people compared them to damaged era black flag, what do you think? They originally formed in 1982 under the name M.A.D. and finally broke up in the late 90's after releasing 3 lps,a ep and a few tracks on different comps

Of all the Black Flag clones Bl'ast were definitely the best- as they did it it in the most non-offensive way...which is by writing decent songs. Great post, it's been a while since I have dug this out of the old record archives.
A brutal classic... one of the all time best of the genre. Live, these guys were astounding! Tight, loud, in your face... the 2nd best pit I was evet in (Cro-Mags get top billing). A good one to get out there... unfairly overlooked.
Great album. More "my war" than "damaged". However a great post.
Many thanks
I was obsessed with this album when it came out. Still one of my favorites after all these years
an intense powerful band! i got to see them live in L.A. in the late 80's. great stuff!

The Black Flag comparison is obvious, I always describe this album to the unknowing as early Black Flag meets early COC with Mike singing. Surf and destroy RIPS! Bought it roughly 20 years ago, still holds up and is played often...
:( i can't download it
